Press Tooling

Our toolroom is fully fitted with CNC machines and design software to match so that no time is wasted in doing alterations to tooling where necessary.
CNC Machining
Our CNC machining services allow for precise and accurate manufacturing of custom parts and components. We use the tried and tested processes to ensure that your designs are translated into high-quality products that meet your exact specifications. we are able to track parts through every single stage with meticulous detail to ensure that the customers know exactly what has been done and what still needs doing. Welding and Fabrication

3D Design
Our 3D design services allow for accurate and detailed visualization of your projects. We use a variety of design software's including Autodesk Inventor Professional, Fusion 360, AutoCad, and Visi Vero design suite. With our multiskilled design team we can ensure that the prototype and design phase of any project moves along at a pace that satisfies our customers timelines and deadlines.
Prototype Development and 3D Printing
We have recently invested into rapid prototyping here at Excel with the addition of two FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) 3D Printers. these printers allow us to rapidly visualize and create physical models of parts to ensure that they meet specification before machining commences. this saves both us and the customer time and money by not wasting valuable materials while the parts are in the design or prototype phases.
Production and Assembly
With our large capacity we can ensure that any order quantity can be accommodated. with the training that our technicians and operators receive it enable them to have the skill to run multiple machines at once ensuring that we minimize downtime and keep the spindles turning.
Laser and Sheet Metal Cutting
Excel utilizes a state of the art CNC Laser cutting machine. The machine we use a Mazak Optiplex 6KW laser. With this machine we can run lights out and cut up to 25mm thick in steel and various other materials including aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel. The integrated pallet and sheet loader ensures that it can run through an entire pallet full of sheet without needing the operator to load sheets manually on the machine. this ensures that we can deliver laser cut parts on schedule
Robot Welding Cells
We understand that every business has unique needs and requirements. At Excel, we pride ourselves on delivering custom solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients. Using one of our 2 Robot welding cells we can program them to run lights out and unattended for hours at a time and in some cases can be 3 times faster than an operator doing the same parts.

At Excel we are always striving to improve quality and performance. With our inspection room boasting the latest Farrow Arm technology from Hexagon we can measure and scan any surface or part. Our quality control processes ensure that our products meet the highest standards of precision and accuracy as well as ensuring that each part is traceable and trackable before it leaves the factory.
